Hawks End 8 Game Winless Streak, Win 2-1

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks were back to work tonight after a day off due to the CCBL All-Star Game. The Brewster Whitecaps came to McKeon Park for the second time this summer. The two previously met in Brewster on Friday when the Hawks ended their 7 game losing streak with an 8-8 tie.

Celebrity Softball Game

We did things a little different last night at McKeon Park since it’s all-star weekend in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Hyannis hosted the Celebrity Softball Game, a charity event that was sponsored by Spaulding Rehab.

Red Sox Shutout the Hawks, 10-0

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks faced the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox tonight at McKeon Park. They had just played each other on Saturday, when Y-D won in walk-off fashion with a base hit down the third base line. Once again, the Red Sox got the best of the Harbor Hawks this time around.

Hawks drop 6th straight, fall 11-4 to Cotuit

Three innings into the game, the Harbor Hawks appeared to have figured out what had been plaguing them for the past 5 games. By the 5th, they were rudely reminded once again. After taking a 4-0 lead against division rival Cotuit, the Hawks gave up 11 unanswered runs, en route to an 11-4 loss.

Firebirds Top the Hawks, 9-3
